Turkey Burgers

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs organic ground turkey
  • 1 tsp garlic powder or 1 clove of fresh garlic
  • Sea salt and pepper to taste
  • *if you feel you need something to bind the burgers better I use almond flour or oat flour and it works great.

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425F.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the meat, garlic powder, sea salt, pepper. Then form into patties. I always place them onto a plate with some parchment paper and then once the patties are formed, I put them into the fridge for about 20 minutes to help keep them together.
  • I use a non stick grill pan but feel free to use any oven safe pan (cast iron is a great option) or BBQ. Cook the burger on high for 3-4 minutes and then flip and cook the other side for 3 minutes.
  • Place pan into the oven for another 10-12 minutes depending on the size of your patties.
  • Remove from oven and serve.
