Roasted Peppers

Ingredients

  • 4 Organic Bell Peppers Red, Yellow, Orange
  • 1.5 tbsp Olive Oil
  • Sea Salt & Pepper
  • Garlic/ Parsley Optional

Instructions

  • Slice bell peppers in half lengthwise. Wash, clean and dry
  • Turn on the oven to broil, cover baking tray with silicone matt or aluminum foil (I generally do not use aluminum foil but when broiling food, parchment paper will burn)
  • Place peppers skin side up under broiler for 15-20 minutes or until charred
  • Once charred remove from over and place in a paper bag or glass container for minimum of 30 minutes to let the peppers "sweat" making the skin easy to peel off
  • One cool enough to handle, remove the skin and slice peppers into smaller strips
  • Top with olive oil, sea sale and pepper. Optional add in garlic and parsley
