Tart Cherry Gummies

Ingredients

  • 2 cups tart cherry juice unsweetened
  • 4 –5 tablespoons gelatin powder use 5 for extra-firm gummies
  • 3 tablespoons honey or maple syrup add more if you like them sweeter

Instructions

  • Pour 1 cup of tart cherry juice into a small saucepan. Sprinkle the gelatin evenly on top (don’t stir yet). Let it bloom for 5 minutes.
  • Gently heat the pan over low heat, stirring until the gelatin completely dissolves (don’t let it boil).
  • Add in the remaining 1 cup juice and your sweetener (honey or maple syrup). Stir until fully combined and smooth.
  • Pour the mixture into silicone molds or a lightly greased glass dish.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for 3+ hours until set
  • Pop out of molds or cut into squares.
