First of all, as you all know by now I am a major consumer and have always been. It’s definitely a bit of a problem but I’m working on it… kind of. Recently, I have been loving these super cute tie dye sweatshirts from Urban Outfitters. What I love even more is that they’re part of their urban renewal program. They take used sweatshirts, wash them, tie dye them and sell them. So, although I am consuming at least it’s on used items that have been repurposed.
I am far from perfect when it comes to sustainability but have been making many efforts to do better. I feel better about purchasing items that have been up-cycled because I know it’s less wasteful, and less items are ending up in landfills. Not to mention that these sweatshirts are so cute, super cozy and I have a minor addiction to buying them.
