I buy, receive and try a lot of different things in the course of a month. Probably more than most people you know and definitely more than is necessary. However, it is my job to know what’s going on in the world of wellness, beauty and fashion and I’m here for it!
We decided it was time to do a monthly review series, where I round up the things I have been gifted, purchased and tried within that month and let you know what’s worth trying and purchasing and what you should pass on. We would love your feedback on products and items you have been wanting reviewed. Please leave your suggestions in the comment section down below and we will be sure to test them out for you!
Solara SPF
I was sent a few sunscreens to try from this brand and I am obsessed! Not only is the line all based with zinc oxide (so it’s mineral) but there are added active ingredients like vitamin c, hyaluronic acid and peptides, so it’s really skincare based. I like it so much we will start selling it on the GLW shop soon. My faves of the moment are the sun drops and the vitamin c spf.

Olio E Osso Lip and Cheek Balm
I have been seeing this brand for years and although I love a stick form of makeup I never felt the desire to buy it. Well, Hailey Beiber shared she uses it and since then so many of you have asked me for my review and to try. While in Nyc I purchased and instantly fell in love! I got the electric melon and the color gives you the most beautiful natural flush, with a nice subtle dew. Not sticky, stays on, I’m a fan!

Makeup By Mario SoftSculpt Transforming Skin Enhancer
I was suggested this product by a friend and didn’t want to like it because the ingredients aren’t as clean as I like, however, it’s a very unique formula. A really lightweight cream bronzer and I actually love it. I use it on the contours of my face and it gives the nicest glow and livens up the face.

The Golden Secrets Shaping Body Oil and Tool
https://shop.girlslivingwell.com/collections/the-golden-secrets
As most of you know we started selling this brand. I was sent the line and have been using this oil and shaping tool almost daily and Wow! I notice the difference in firmness on my legs and how great my skin looks. Highly recommend it. It’s also such a nice ritual!

Luna Nectar Dry Shampoo
I was sent this line and was very excited to try the dry shampoo because it’s not easy to fine ones that don’t dry out the hair and that have clean ingredients. I love this product, it lifts, volumizes and of course, sweeps away excess oil! It also has an adaptogenic aspect to it which is interesting, unclear what it does but I love my adaptogens. This is a great option for those looking for dry shampoo.

Jones Road Face Pencil Concealer
I really like Jones Road for the most part and this was one of the only items I hadn’t tried, so I purchased it. Unfortunately, I didn’t like it. The formula isn’t creamy or blend-able and doesn’t give much coverage or brightening. Hopefully they will update this formula because it would be a great option to have a concealer from this brand.

TAOS aer deodorant
I am not a big deodorant girl and don’t wear it daily (don’t worry I don’t smell). However, during the warm summer days sometimes its needed. This deodorant is incredible, doesn’t irritate and the scent of the Palo Santo Blood Orange is incredible. It’s totally clean and we sell all the scents on the shop!
