It’s shorts season and for the last few years bike shorts have made a comeback. While some love the bike short trend others find it difficult to find a pair they feel confident in. We have rounded up some of our personal favorites that we think work well for most body types!
Lululemon Fast & Free Bike Shorts
These are technically for working out but can totally be worn day to day. The material is like a second skin, it’s super silky and these come in 2 lengths, 6’’ and 10’’ so you have options when it comes to length. They also come in a few different colors, and these are a good option if you want to venture into a color other than black because they have good compression and don’t show every lump and bump. The price tag is steep, like most Lululemon items but the quality is there, and you can wear these over and over.
Aerie Move Highest Rise Bike Short
Aerie makes really cute bike shorts, at a great price. This style is high rise and super flattering. They are 9’’ which is a great length and a good in between for those who don’t want to wear short shorts. They come in different colors and prints. We have also linked a cute pair from AE with a lace trim that fit similarly. See our shop for the post links to shop!
Tea You Bodycon Bike Shorts
These shorts are actually super flattering, they suck you in and lift you up all while looking effortlessly cool. Available in grey and black, these are awesome for day to day wear. Tea You is also a Montreal based designer who we love!
Spanx Booty Boost Active Shorts
We recently covered these in our May Reviews post. We are fans! These literally suck you in, they’re shapewear but made to be worn out and also for workouts. They come in 4’’ and 7’’ so you have your option of length. They really do lift the bum and hold everything in! These are KG’s go to black bike shorts!
Girlfriend Collective High Rise Bike Shorts
This is another favorite of ours. We love the brand Girlfriend, it’s ecofriendly and the quality is incredible. These come in tons of colors, are super flattering and wash really well! They are currently available on Trendsavvy’s website in numerous colors. You can use the code KGMTL for 20% off your order.
There are tons of great bike shorts on the market, but these are the ones we really suggest. We are all about a thicker waist band that doesn’t cut you so you have the option of wearing a more fitted top should you want to! Let us know if there are any bike shorts you guys love!
