We decided it was time to do a monthly review series, where I round up the things I have been gifted, purchased and tried within that month and let you know what’s worth trying and purchasing and what you should pass on. FURTUNA SKIN Due Alberi Biphase Moisturizing Oil
I have been dying to try this clean, Italian beauty brand for a while now but the shipping to Canada is insane so I ordered it to Florida and have been using this oil daily since. It is incredible! It’s a very unique formula, because it contains potent nutrients that are both oil and water soluble. It protects against blue light, free radicals, and urban pollution. It contains active vitamin C and wild chicory, it helps support the skin’s natural collagen synthesis for long-term resilience. I love using this after serum and before moisturizer morning and night! The only downside is that the price point is very high and the product doesn’t last long. I will definitely repurchase.

SUMMER FRIDAYS Light Aura Vitamin C + Peptide Eye Cream
I always love to try Summer Friday’s new releases! This eye cream is really nice and brightens up the under eye so nicely. It is moisturizing and de puffing as well which is really nice. My favourite thing is how it makes the skin glow! Do not love the packaging and that it’s in a pot. I find myself wasting a lot of product by taking too much and don’t love that bacteria can easily get inside.

LE PRUNIER PLUMSCREEN SPF 31
This is the second product from the Le Prunier range and I preordered it the minute I could. I waited for it for almost 4 months after they had production delays but let me say, this was worth the wait! This product protects skin and collagen from pollution, blue light and UV damage while shielding from DNA-damaging free radicals. Everything about this product is spot on! It is the cleanest of clean and leaves zero white cast. The finish is perfect and looks amazing under makeup. The price point is definitely on the higher side but you are paying for prime ingredients! It also smells as amazing as their plum oil!

Makeup By Mario Moisture Glow Plumping Lip Serum
As you know I love a good nudeish lip situation so I ordered this product. I got the shade Mauvey Nude and love the color. When you first apply the color is really nice and the texture is great. Balmy, glossy and good color, unfortunately it doesn’t last. Everything about this product comes off and fades. I won’t be repurchasing. This is my general feeling towards everything I have tried from MBM’s line so far. Good at first but doesn’t last.

Biossance Squalane + Zinc Sheer Mineral Sunscreen
I have heard such great things about this SPF but it was never available to purchase in Canada (we have really strict rules when it comes to SPF). I ordered it a while back in Florida and had it shipped here but it’s not available in Canada.The product is great! Fully physical, zinc oxide based and goes on really nice and sheer. I like a little bit of a thicker texture when it comes to my SPFs but this is a great option for combo and oily skin types and for everyday wear.

Living Libations Seabuckthorn best skin ever balm
Living Libations Seabuckthorn Best Skin Ever oil is one of my original, holy grail products that I have gotten so many hooked on. They recently launched the same amazing formula but in a balm and let me tell you, I was thrilled about it and had to try immediately. Over the years I have transitioned into a balm cleanser girl over oil cleanser. This product is excellent, as expected. You can use it as a cleanser or leave it on as a moisturizer. Unlike other balm cleansers this product will not milk up and wash with ease. I suggest using a warm washcloth to remove makeup and SPF.

RARE BEAUTY BRONZER STICK colour Happy Sol
I haven’t been overly impressed with any of the products I’ve tried from Rare Beauty but this bronzer stick is actually incredible. This stick is creamy, lightweight, and super bendable. I apply it like a contour stick and blend it out to bronze my face. I will definitely be repurchasing and no breakouts!

Bloom Effects Royal Tulip Cleansing Jelly
This brand has been on my radar for a bit so I ordered a few products to try out. This cleansing jelly was a miss for me. I didn’t like the texture on my skin and did not find that it cleansed my skin well at all. I tried a few times and feel no need to keep trying.

CHARLOTTE TILBURRY BEAUTIFUL SKIN FOUNDATION
I instantly purchased this product when it launched and simultaneously received it in the mail from the brand so I had a chance to really find my perfect shade match. Shade 7 works best for me. Im not a big foundation girl but this one is excellent. It is medium coverage, you can see your skin when wearing, which I think is so important and it leaves such a nice radiant finish. I also don’t find that it congests my skin at all. It’s the perfect balance of everything! Big fan.

Bloom Effects Royal Nectar
This is a really unique product that I am really enjoying.It’s an ointment-to-serum, quench-it-all hydrator that soothes and nourishes the skin. The texture is almost jelly like and then when you apply it to the skin it turns to an oil texture. You wake up in the morning to super hydrated, plumped up skin. The only thing I don’t love is that it’s almost hard to get it out of the jar without it sliding all over the place. I also like to let it dry a bit before touching my head to the pillow because it can be a little sticky, however the results are worth it!
