I heard of a few people trying this out and decided to give it a try myself. I normally get my hair blowdried professionally but for those in-between visits, Ineeded something to help that was easy to use and wouldn’t take too much time. Along came the Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer. This brush/blowdryer combo is great. Easy to use and light weight and at such an affordable price! Coming in at only $65 CAD. It’s definitely worth it.
I’ve tested out a few other brands with similar tools and either found they were too expensive or didn’t provide me with the ease of use like the Revlon one did. I’ve learned it’s best to use this tool on towel dried hair and even better on air dried hair. I like to have my hair about 75-80% dried before using this because it gets very hot and over time can be damaging to the hair, so reducing heat time is important. As mentioned earlier I don’t use this weekly, it really is for in between professional blowdries for me, instead of fixing my hair up with a straightening iron I use this. I also love that it refreshes my hair and adds nice body to it. When I do my whole head it takes me literally 20 minutes it’s incredible!
Traveling is now a lot easier too. Before would have to pack a blow dryer, brush, flat iron and a styling wand. This tool is all of those in one. Such a space saver in my luggage.
Emma on the GlwGrls team also uses the Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer and loves it. She has naturally very curly hair and finds it straightens it well and lasts a couple days.
I’m still learning the different tricks to holding the brush to give either a straight look, slight wave or full flip. So if you have some tips for me, please leave them in the comments below!
