If you are on Instagram, then you have probably seen the cereal brand Magic Spoon being promoted by someone or at least somewhere in your timeline as a sponsored post. It seems to be everywhere, and it claims to be a healthy, natural version of all your favorite childhood cereals like fruit loops, coco puffs etc… Upon a quick look at the ingredient list, which isn’t very long, I was immediately confused as to how anyone thinks this cereal is “healthy”. Are the ingredients better than let’s say, fruit loops? Yes, I guess, but healthy? No. Let’s break down the basic ingredient list to understand what these ingredients mean and why they’re not so great for you.
