Gio’s spots
Mano Cornuto
Address: 988 Ottawa St, Montreal, Quebec H3C 1S3
This has been my go-to place the last few weeks. I always go for the iced latte (with oat milk) – it’s a solid 10/10. It’s also a super cute spot, very Italian style with great food if you’re down to eat a lil’ something.
Olimpico
Address:
- 124 Rue Saint- Viateur O, Montréal, QC H2T 2L1
- 419 R. Saint-Vincent, Montréal, QC H2Y 3A6
- 1333 Boulevard Robert-Bourassa, Montréal, QC H3A 2A4
A MTL staple. IYKYN.
I like going to the OG one in the Mile-End. But they did open a few new ones (Old port + Downtown).
Olive et Gourmando
Address: 351 Saint-Paul St W, Montreal, Quebec H2Y 2A7
Located in the heart of the old port, Olive et Gourmando is always packed with people for brunch or lunch! I’m sure you’ve spotted people waiting outside for their coffee or food.
The coffee and dessert / food is super tasty and worth the price and wait.
Katherine’s spots:
I am more of an at home morning coffee/ matcha drinker. I truly love my morning ritual of making my own coffee but I do love an afternoon coffee/ matcha run! There are so many amazing spots in Montreal and I could list 10 but these are the few I am frequenting at the moment:
Cafe Myriade
Address:
- 1432 Mackay
- 1000 Ste-Catherine O.
- 4627 Saint-Denis
- 28 Mont-Royal
- 347 Victoria Ave.
They just opened one in Westmount and have amazing coffee. More specifically, cold brew (which you know I love). I also like their iced matcha latté (unsweetened of course) and their lemon ginger honey elixir is excellent! I usually go for Oat milk as my non-dairy milk of choice here.
Cafe Gentile
Address:
- Westmount – 4126 rue Sainte-Catherine
- Chabanel – 9299 Av du Parc
Gentile for me is the original of all originals. I have been going to their Chabanel location for as long as I can remember, and always for more than just coffee. I now go to their Westmount location all the time and generally get an almond milk cappuccino or a simple espresso! It’s a family owned business and they’re so friendly and warm. Amazing coffee, iced tea is also next level and I’m sure you already know but their sandwiches are the best!
Emma’s spots:
Tommy Cafe
Address:
- St-Paul
- Notre-Dame
- Plateau Mont-Royal
My go-to is the iced coffee, and obviously paired with one of their amazing pastries. They’re opening up a new spot in the West Island and I couldn’t be more excited.
BarBara
Address: 4450 Notre-Dame O
Pistachio Oat Milk Latte – you’re welcome
Non Solo Pane
Address: 455 Bord-du-Lac, Dorval, QC H9S 2A9
This is my go-to place for, well, everything. Love stopping by for an espresso. The best part, is that it’s walking distance from my house. I go in for a coffee and walk out with a whole bag of stuff. Not complaining.
