GLW team shares their current favorite terraces in Montreal. Gio, Katherine and Emma talk about what they love about each spot.
Kabinet
98 Avenue Laurier O, Montréal, QC H2T 2N4
I used to love going to Datcha but I am kind of over the whole club, loud music vibe. But, I still do love a good terrace. Kabinet is a hole in the wall spot next to Datcha, on Laurier Street. The inside is super small and the terrace also, but it’s super cute and they make great drinks!
Henrietta
115 Avenue Laurier O, Montréal, QC H2T 2N6
Also on Laurier street, Henrietta is a nice spot to go for an apero or just a drink with friends or a date! They have a really well set-up terrace and the drinks are a solid 10/10.
Restaurant Beatrice
1504 Sherbrooke St W, Montreal, Quebec H3G 1L3
I am here every other weekend! It’s the most beautiful terrace with a great vibe and food. I have been coming to this restaurant since i’m a kid and will continue to go! Many people I know have even had their wedding here! It’s Italian but there are tons of healthy options.
Il Cortile
1442 Sherbrooke St W, Montreal, Quebec H3G 1K4
This is another gem that has been around forever! It happens to be very close to Beatrice and also Italian but very different. Il cortile’s terrace is more of a courtyard and really makes you feel like you’re in Italy. The food is also more traditional.
Les Terrasses Bonsecours
364 Rue de la Commune E Montreal, Quebec
They make such fun sangria and have great tapas to choose from. It’s more of an upbeat vibe. If you’re looking for some great drinks and fun music, this place is great. Also located in the Old Port of Montreal, right by the water. Great views.
Terrasse Nelligan
100 rue Saint-Paul Ouest Montreal, Quebec
Located on the 5th floor of Hotel Nelligan, this chic roof top terrasse has a great view overlooking Old Montreal. Perfect spot for brunch.
