I buy, receive and try a lot of different things in the course of a month. Probably more than most people you know and definitely more than is necessary. However, it is my job to know what’s going on in the world of wellness, beauty and fashion and I’m here for it!
We decided it was time to do a monthly review series, where I round up the things I have been gifted, purchased and tried within that month and let you know what’s worth trying and purchasing and what you should pass on. A Vogel Relax Spray
This is a new launch from A Vogel and I feel like it came into my life at the perfect time. I have been struggling on and off with anxiety and having this in my purse not only makes me feel calmer but it actually works. It’s an oral spray that eases the nerves and helps you feel calm. It contains a powerful combination of Passion flower, Lemon balm and Zinc. Helps to relieve restlessness and/or nervousness and even works as a sleep aid during times of mental stress. Highly recommend it!

Tan Luxe Instant Hero
I have been loving all the Tan Luxe products recently and purchased this for my trip to Portugal. I have tried a lot of “skin perfecting creams” that even out your skin tone and make the skin look flawless. This one might be one of the best. What I love about it is that it really does give a nice even coverage to the skin, enhances your tone and gives you a beautiful tan and glow and doesn’t transfer onto clothing. It also has this sponge tip that you can use to apply if you want which is a good feature. A little goes a long way so although it’s pricey the tube will likely last you a while.

Summer Friday Perfume Trio
I generally love all things Summer Fridays and I am a sucker for good branding and packaging, which they always nail! I had to try this perfume trio. The scents are Vanilla, Coconut and Citrus. I didn’t love any of the scents, they aren’t bad but they aren’t my type of notes. I prefer sweeter smells rather than woody. I will say that for a clean fragrance they do last long.

Tarte Bow & Go Glosses
When I saw this set and the colors, I had to have them. A few things, these are extremely glossy and hydrating but the color doesn’t last or show much. I have enjoyed using them but wouldn’t repurchase.

January Labs
I found this brand at the end of September and have been using almost the whole line all of October. It is simple, clean and effective.
Brightening Tonic:
This is an all-in-one toning treatment that exfoliates and hydrates your skin while stimulating collagen production and targeting pigmentation issues. This is a gentle toner, specially formulated to strengthen the skin and regulate proper pH balance to reveal a smooth, healthy glow. I have really been liking this toner and have been alternating using it with my P50. It really does make the skin glow and I would recommend this for those dealing with active or cystic acne because it contains AHAs and witch hazel as well as glycerin. Basically, it’s a great ingredient combo to decongest, fight bacteria while hydrating the skin.

Reclaiming Serum:
I have been getting asked on repeat about this product and feel comfortable sharing after over 30 days of use. This is an amazing blend of active ingredients. It contains a soothing retinol formulation is specifically designed for sensitive skin and those who have had difficulty tolerating the typical drying effects of retinol products in the past. It also has Vitamin C and Niacinamide. The mix of these 3 active ingredients is a great combination for glowing, happy skin. I have been really liking this product. I will say it’s not something you will see instant results from with daily use. It really does plump fine lines and leave skin tone even and healthy.

Restorative Tonic Mist:
This is my favorite item from the January Labs range so far. This mist is so moisturizing, nourishing, it has antibacterial properties and it calms inflammation. The smell is also incredible. This is an amazing mist to use if you deal with “maskne” because it contains glycerin which is extremely hydrating. I use this all day and am pretty obsessed!

Revitalizing Day Cream:
This is a daily hydrating moisturizer formulated to strengthen the skin barrier, promote skin rejuvenation, improve elasticity, firm and plump the skin and minimize fine lines. This cream is lighter weight than what I generally purchase but it’s so hydrating and leaves my skin exactly how I like it after moisturizing. It is packed with antioxidants and contains my favorite ingredient, Niacinamide which helps reduce and eliminate discoloration. I have really enjoyed using this and plan to keep this as a staple day cream in my rotation.

Pure and Gentle Cleansing Gel
I wish there was a way to explain how this cleanser applies to the skin but its unique and I love it. It starts as a gel texture and then becomes creamy. It leaves skin feeling so clean and fresh and even moisturized and nourished. It’s one of the best cleansers I have ever used and truly enjoy using it. I am so happy to have found this product. The ingredient list is chalked full of everything we should all be using to cleanse our skin to achieve and maintain clear, glowing skin. Highly recommend it.
