Tartare isn’t generally something I think of making at home, it’s more of restaurant item for me but about a year ago I started making it at home and I am kind of obsessed. My salmon tartare is a huge hit amongst friends and family, so I knew I had to share it with all of you. It is another fun way of getting in nutrient dense salmon, and I actually almost enjoy raw salmon better than cooked. Follow along below, this recipe serves 2.

  1. The salmon tartare is an amazing recipe, but the fish has to be at a certain grade & frozen at a certain temperature to be eaten raw .!

    1. True! I couldn’t find it so I ended up using smoked salmon. I wish it was indicated in the Recipe because I never bought raw salmon you can just eat like that outside sushi restaurant

        1. My bad I just read 400g salmon ! Either way it worked with the smoke salmon! It was really good! I didn’t share though:)

  2. As a vegan, and a girl who is also trying to glow I am hyper offended by this. That poor little fishy never stood a chance. Have you ever seen Finding Nemo? That’s basically the Saving Private Ryan of the fish world. You took a little fishy from his/her home, cut him/her up, and paraded him/her on a gram cracker with dill. #Savage #FishHaveFeelings #TearsForTheOcean
