July always feels like peak summer — the heat, the sunshine, the rhythm of long days. Here’s what I’ve been loving, making, wearing, and doing while soaking up summer in Montreal.

Sweat & Reset: July Workouts in MTL

What workouts are you loving right now?
I am doing a lot of weight training at APC and pilates 3 times a week at Pilates Noir. This is my go to Montreal routine and I’m loving it!

What are you wearing to super-sweaty workouts?
Im really loving 437 activewear, Form activewear and Adanola! Also still very much into pedal pushers!

How are you staying hydrated post-workout?
Still loving my Quinton Hypertonic! I add an ampule into my workout water daily! I also add Chlorphyll to aid with extra detoxification.

Post-workout skincare?
Well, of course!! I love S’eau Prima- its a hypochlorous acid spray which really helps with killing any bacteria. It stops any unnecessary breakouts from happening.

What’s on the July Menu?

What are you cooking, making, or baking on repeat this month?
I am having a love affair with gazpacho. It’s so refreshing and healthy! Also very easy to make. Heirloom tomatoes are my preference and they’re in season now so it’s the perfect time to make it!  My recipe is coming to the site very soon!

MTL Eats: Out & About

Favorite Summer Terrace:
Dinner: Foxy! I love it so much and they really serve farm to table. Everything is super fresh and local! Its also an easy, cozy good vibe!

Lunch: I’ve been making my own lunches- lots of salads! I love roasting corn and adding it to my salads.

Gifting in July

Summer means cottage weekends, birthday parties, hosting, and being hosted.

What’s your favorite type of gift to receive as a host?

I would love to get a nice bottle of olive oil. I think this is such an underrated gift and there are so many beautiful olive oils to give.

And what do you love to give when you’re the guest?

I love to give a candle or go the body care route and give a nice body scrub or body oil. I think so many people appreciate it and don’t pamper themselves enough.

Favorite Places to Relax

Where are you escaping to when you want to slow down?

In Montreal: your favorite area or neighborhood strolls → The mountain- mount royal – it’s my happy place and I go as often as I can to get away from the city and escape into nature.

Up North: a quick reset at the lake → I grew up going to the country, we always had a home in Ste Agathe and still go up here and there. I stay with friends and enjoy the boat and lake and a slower pace than the city. I recently went up to Manoir St Sauveur and that was really nice and close to the city.

My favorite creperie is called Tournesol and I love their salad and french onion.

What’s in your bag right now?

Facile lip jelly tint – obsessed! Perfect color for everyday and so hydrating.

I am loving dates with ghee right now! So delicious and nutritious.

The book- The Tell by Amy Griffith is incredible!

One thing you’ve started doing in July that’s new

I am really trying to go without botox so I have taken up facial acupuncture and have been using a microcurrent device daily!

I have also started using molecular hydrogen tablets daily and feel great!

Your July mantra or energy.
“Where energy goes Energy flows”
