Thanksgiving weekend was everything it should be — time with family, good food, gratitude, laughter, and rest. I took a pause from my cleanse to really enjoy it, because life is about balance — the 80/20 rule. It’s okay to enjoy the moment and have the pie, but once the weekend ends, it’s time to come back to the center — to routine, movement, and rituals that make us feel our best.
Even while traveling, I stay grounded by keeping my morning rituals consistent. They help my body reset and remind me that wellness doesn’t stop just because I’m not home.
I always start my day with warm lemon water to hydrate, wake up digestion, and gently support detoxification. Then I take Liver Vitality by Anima Mundi — it blends perfectly into water and helps the liver flush out what it doesn’t need, especially after a weekend of heavier meals and desserts.
Next comes fresh celery juice, followed by the Heavy Metal Detox Smoothie from the Medical Medium — a combination that really helps me cleanse the system, replenish minerals, and keep energy stable throughout the day.
After that, I have my matcha sticks from CAP Beauty,(taking a major break from coffee these days) – whisked with homemade almond milk, plus Sera and Mattina collagen powder for skin and joint support.
Once or twice a day I’ll add an herbal mix from Hygea Herbs : Intestinal Action 1 & 2 ; the first one is added into some water/juice , while the second is a capsule I take right after. They work hand in hand to help promote elimination (super important during a cleanse or detox) — keeping everything moving while I continue the cleansing process.
Throughout the day, I sip on water with Immunity Leefy tincture, especially while traveling, to keep my immune system strong and help prevent any post-holiday colds.
Together they make an amazing reset routine — nourishing, hydrating, and supportive from the inside out. After a weekend of indulgence, I like to focus on liquids and mostly raw foods. It gives my body a break from heavy digestion, boosts energy, and helps me feel lighter and clearer.
This isn’t about restriction — it’s about rhythm. Enjoy the celebrations, then return to what supports you. Move your body (even if it’s just a walk after meals), drink your greens, and stay consistent. That’s what balance really looks like — enjoying the moment, then coming back to yourself.
