This is a tried, tested and true recipe that is super easy to make, filled with protein and a great post workout breakfast or lunch! I’ve been making them for years but recently not so much because I don’t eat dairy and it requires yogurt but I’ve found some pretty decent coconut yogurts or non dairy options so I have been making them that way. The original recipe is done with regular or greek yogurt so the choice is yours to make! It works great with either.
4 Ingredient Protein Pancake
Servings 4 people
Equipment
- Skillet or pan
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup organic Egg Whites 4 egg whites
- 1/3 cup yogurt greek, regular or non dairy
- 1 serving protein powder I use Mercola or Nuzest but any will do
- 1/2 cup oat flour
- 2 tbsp non dairy milk if consistency is too thick
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients together in bowl and whisk until smooth
- Heat up pan and add some cooking spray
- Add pancake mix (desired amount/ size) on pan and cook 1-2 mins, flip and cook other side
- Garnish with berries, coconut whatever you like and of course maple syrup and enjoy!
Notes
You can use any flavour protein powder you’d like depending on your preference. I have made them with cinnamon flavoured protein, chocolate and both were delicious. You can also add shredded coconut or cinnamon into the batter and of course chocolate chips! Have fun with it, they’re pancakes after all!
Hi! Is one serving of Nuzest considered two scoops here?
