Almond Butter Brownies
Servings 8 portions
Ingredients
- 1 cup smooth almond butter
- 1 egg
- 1 egg white
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2/3 Cup maple syrup
- 1/2 cup cacao
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
- Chopped nuts of your choice - optional
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F... line a square baking pan with parchment paper or use a silicone baking pan.
- In a mixing bowl add almond butter, egg and egg white, vanilla and maple syrup and whisk together... easier with an electric mixer.
- Once combined add in cacao and chocolate chips and any nuts ...if its too thick and not mixing well add a little non dairy milk to thin it out (about 1-2 tbsp). This really depends on the consistency of the almond butter you used.
- Pour into prepared baking dish and add some extra chocolate chips on top. Bake 20-25 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool, cut into squares and enjoy!
