One of my fave desserts EVER is apple crumble. It’s a crowd pleaser and a personal favorite of my friends and family. Here is my better for you spin on this classic treat!
Apple Crumble
Ingredients
- 5 granny smith apples peeled and cubed
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp raw honey
- 5 tbsp almond flour divided
- 2 tbsp cinnamon
- 2 cups Old-Fashioned Rolled Oats
- 1/3 cup coconut oil at room temp
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
Instructions
- Heat oven to 325F.
- In a large bowl, add honey, 1 tbsp cinnamon, 2 tbsp almond flour and apples. Mix together until all the apples are covered.
- Pour apple mixture into a baking dish.
- In another bowl mix together Old-Fashioned Oats, maple syrup, 3 tbsp almond flour, coconut oil and cinnamon. Combine them all.
- Cover top of pie with crumble mixture.
- Bake for 25 minutes until golden brown. Let cool at least 10-15 mins before serving and enjoy!

Notes
This classic but healthier crumble can be made with berries, peaches, a mix of both. Really any fruit that works well as a crumble and that's in season! You can even use frozen fruit rather than fresh!
