I buy, receive and try a lot of different things in the course of a month. Probably more than most people you know and definitely more than is necessary. However, it is my job to know what’s going on in the world of wellness, beauty and fashion and I’m here for it!
We decided it was time to do a monthly review series, where I round up the things I have been gifted, purchased and tried within that month and let you know what’s worth trying and purchasing and what you should pass on. We would love your feedback on products and items you have been wanting reviewed. Please leave your suggestions in the comment section down below and we will be sure to test them out for you!
Tatcha Clay Mask
I got this a few months back but wanted to use it multiple times before reviewing. I really like the texture of this clay mask, it has Japanese Konjac which gives a physical exfoliation without damaging the skin. This is a great mask to incorporate once a week, especially if you wear a lot of makeup, to help pull out excess oils and stop the buildup of sebum that causes breakouts. I don’t know if I would repurchase because I am not blown away but it’s a good mask.

Kari Gran SPF30
This is one the best SPF products I have used in a long time. It has skincare texture and benefits with the added benefit of mineral sun protection. I love that it is a non nano zinc oxide, which means it will literally just sit on top of the skin and do what it needs to do. It comes in tinted and non tinted and I truly love both but tend to use the tinted one more. It gives a really nice, even coverage and beautiful glow to the skin.

Living Libations Royal Rose Honey Mask
It’s no surprise I’m a big Living Libations fan and have been for many years. This mask is a newer addition to my collection and I am so happy to have tried it. This mask is based with wild crafted Honey and rose clay. It’s super antimicrobial, clarifying while being very nourishing to the skin. It’s a little hard to apply because of the nature of the ingredients, it takes a little work and warming up with the hands but it leaves the skin so refined, clean and plump. Highly recommend it.

Kosas PLUMP Juicy Lip Treatment
I adore Kosas so of course, had to try their latest lip launch. The texture is nice, hydrating and plumping, I also love the packaging. There is a terrible, almost toxic taste to the gloss so I don’t enjoy using it. It’s too bad because I do like the formula.

skkn Exfoliator
When Kim K announced she was launching a skincare company, my initial reaction was… ugh, another celeb skincare line. I really had no intention of trying anything but after seeing so much promotion, I got hooked. I decided to purchase the exfoliator, I tried it 2 times and was really unimpressed. It’s very harsh on the skin and abrasive. The smell is not my vibe. The packaging is stunning but I would not repurchase and will likely not continue to use it.

Living Libations Shampoo and Conditioner
I’m always on the hunt for good, clean hair products. I have used this shampoo in the past and sort of forgot about it. When I was making an order for the GLW Shop I spotted it and had to order. This is an excellent duo for all hair types, it’s all natural of course, cleans the hair so well, even suds up really nicely and leaves hair so shiny and healthy. Kris loves it too! Great products for those who suffer with scalp issues and psoriasis.

Colorescience Glow SPF
I absolutely love this product, it makes the skin look so beautiful and gives really nice coverage. Looks amazing under makeup or as makeup! Added bonus is that it’s made of 100% mineral screens. It’s on the heavier side, I wouldn’t suggest it for oily skin types.

Charlotte Tilbury Bronzer
This bronzer was sent to me in a PR package and is a really nice buttery formula. You apply with a brush, I like to use it on the contours of my face. You can also use it in specific areas with your fingers. I don’t know if I would repurchase or use it daily because I love the bronzer stick from Vapour, and it has better ingredients but it’s a nice formula for summer.
