I go through phases with tahini, some months I love it and want to add it to everything, other months I am just not into it and avoid using it. Currently, I am very into it and love adding it to all kinds of recipes. This is my basic tahini dressing, sauce, depending on what you choose to use it on you can call it a dressing or a sauce. We love to use this on salads, or drizzled on top of roasted vegetables, quinoas, rice etc…it really works on everything and is super simple to make!
Super easy and great addition to any healthy meal! Also delicious when you need a little dipping sauce and don’t know what to use!
Tahini Dressing
This can be used as a salad dressing or as a dipping sauce.
Servings 1 .5 Cups
Equipment
- blender or nutribullet
Ingredients
RECIPE
- ½ cup tahini any brand works, look for minimal ingredients
- 5 tbsp lemon juice about 2 lemons
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tbsp maple syrup or raw honey
- 1.5 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp water add more if too thick
- Sea salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
DIRECTIONS
- Add all ingredients to a blender or nutribullet. Blend until smooth and combined.
- If you are using this salad dressing you may want to add a little extra water to thin out the consistency. If you are using it as a sauce you may want to leave as is. I generally add 3-5 tbsp of water depending.
- Store in an airtight container, glass bottle etc… stays good for 7-10 days in the fridge.
