Last holiday season, we partnered with Welcome Hall Mission for their Coeur à soeur program. This program helps young mothers with children up to age 5, and pregnant women between 15 and 30 years old, take back control of their lives.
We were so touched by our community with how much they donated to give to this program, we were thrilled to partner again. This time it’s in celebration of Mother’s Day. Providing moms with all they need to have in their hospital bag. Giving them everything they need to take care of themselves so they can take care of their newborns.
Boxes should be able to close properly but not be taped or wrapped in order to triage the distribute them to each Mom.
You can include a note, card or inspiring message in the box for the mom.
Established in 1892, Welcome Hall Mission is the largest doorway to help for Montrealers in need. Many programs are available to support those experiencing homelessness, young single mothers, families and at-risk youth. Providing hope through concrete actions and effective solutions.
In the Cœur à sœur program, the team of dedicated professionals helps young mothers through personalized life plans, participants build self-esteem, develop a greater sense of responsibility, and hone their parental skills.
