Dewy Setting Mists

In case you missed the memo, I’m all about glowy, dewy skin. I know many people love the matte makeup, matte skin look but that’s just not my thing. I rarely ever use setting powders because I find they make me look cakey, matte and generally the ingredients aren’t the best for you. I am all about setting sprays, more specifically, setting sprays tan enhance your glow and leave your skin looking dewy and gorgeous!

I have tried so many of these mists and generally like most of them but I have rounded up my few favourites that I constantly repurchase and use daily. I usually do “love it/ leave it” but in this case they are all great for that glowy, dewy look and all should be avoided if you are more into a matte finish.

Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist

This is probably my number 1, mainly because it was the first product that I remember existing that was made for a dewy, radiant finish. I use this almost daily and love the whole ritual of feeling this super fine mist on my skin. The only downside here is the price tag, it’s not cheap and I go through a bottle every 4-6 weeks depending how much misting I do. This isn’t the product you want to be using to refresh the skin throughout the day. It’s really meant for post makeup application to set and to amp up the dew!

Ciaté Dewy Mist

I found this product about 2 years ago and it is a close second to the Tatcha mist. For me this is kind of a dupe for the Tatcha mist, you get a lot more product for a lot less money and the results are similar. The only downside here is the feeling of applying just doesn’t match up to the Tatcha mist. It is more aggressive, wetter texture but does dry nicely and definitely leaves you dewy and radiant.

Anastasia Dewy Set Setting Spray

I have been using this since it launched last year and it’s a very good option. This product is definitely more of a setting spray than the other two I have mentioned. I use this on the days or nights I wear foundation to help it stay in place and it also gives a beautiful added glow. You do get a lot of products and the application is nice.

Tatcha Satin Skin Mist

This is the younger sister of the Dewy Skin Mist and it’s also very good. This product contains some clay in it so it’s not as dewy but still leaves skin very radiant and satiny. The name really does describe the product well. The application is similar to the Dewy Mist, very refined and nice on the skin. I use this product when I use very dewy foundations and don’t want my skin to look like it’s melting. It’s a great setting mist if you don’t want to be overly dewy but you also don’t want to be mattified.

Too Faced Hangover 3-in-1 Setting Spray and Primer

This is a fantastic product because it can be used in so many ways and works well for all of them. It is super hydrating, can be used as a primer before makeup, a setting spray to keep makeup in place, and a midday refresher anytime your skin needs a boost, serving as the perfect cure for a beauty hangover. It smells incredible, contains coconut water and really keeps skin bright, hydrated and of course dewy. I love to use this when I travel!

These are all in my “currently using” makeup drawer.. I think I need to film that drawer for you guys and show you what that looks like! As mentioned I have tried so many mists and these are my top 5! I would love to know what dewy mists you guys swear by,  leave a comment below and let me know!
