I buy, receive and try a lot of different things in the course of a month. Probably more than most people you know and definitely more than is necessary. However, it is my job to know what’s going on in the world of wellness, beauty and fashion and I’m here for it!
We decided it was time to do a monthly review series, where I round up the things I have been gifted, purchased and tried within that month and let you know what’s worth trying and purchasing and what you should pass on. UBeauty Lip plasma rich compound
This is the latest launch from UBeauty. I received it in a PR package and was very excited to try it out. Firstly, the packaging and metal applicator is very chic and has a nice feel on the lips. The product itself is amazing, glossy without being sticky and really hydrates and plumps up the lips. I noticed my lines plumped up a bit and made my lips look more youthful!
Will definitely continue using it! Especially overnight.

Jones Road Sparkle Wash Shadow
I am very much on the Jones Road bandwagon as you will notice in this month’s reviews. As someone who is not great at applying eye makeup, this type of product really intrigued me. I purchased two shades and the minute I used them I was hooked. These are super Easy to apply and give the eye a really nice shimmer effect. I now own almost all the colors, but what I love is the versatility of this product. You can use certain shades for a day time soft glam or amp it up over a darker shadow at night. it stays on really well and also removes easily for a sparkle shadow. Love!

Tarte Blush Stick
I’m convinced I used to use this product over 10 years ago and used to swear by it. I don’t remember if this was the exact product but I see that it’s a limited edition launch so maybe they brought it back for a short time. Either way, I love a stick, creamy blush and this one is awesome. Only thing I will mention is that it’s quite subtle and doesn’t pop as much as other blushes. I personally like that I’m not looking for an overly Rosy look but it’s worth mentioning if you are.

Augustinus Bader Body Cream
I picked this up during a Sephora sale because I had been sold on it by a salesperson at Neiman Marcus while I was in Florida. It claims to really firm the skin and hydrate. While I do find it firming, the actual tub doesn’t last longer than two weeks and at the price point it’s unrealistic. I much prefer a do you hear more hydrating finish and this just does not deliver that. I won’t be repurchasing.

Cymbiotika Magnesium Oil
Like everything else Cymbiotika makes, I am obsessed with this product. This is a magnesium chloride in oil spray blended with other calming ingredients that you apply topically to your body and it absorbs quickly into the bloodstream. I appreciate the delivery system and wish more supplements were in oil form So I can bypass digestion. I apply this to the bottom of my feet at night and have noticed I am sleeping much deeper!

Jones Road Cool Gloss
I had to purchase this because as you know, I love lip gloss. I purchased this in a few colours and really like it upon initial application however it doesn’t really stay on well or long lasting. For that reason I wouldn’t repurchase but it gives me “juicy tubes” vibes without the sticky ness!

Jones Road Hippie stick
I have been having crazy amounts of regrowth from all the hair supplements I am taking. While I’m super happy about the regrowth, I’m not so happy about all the new hair that sticks up on top of my head. I purchased this hippie stick to use on my head and anywhere else I needed a little moisture and slicking and I am OBSESSED with it! It’s made up of nourishing, natural ingredients! So happy to have found this product and definitely think it’s a great thing to have in your bathroom or in your purse!

Olaplex No 9
I have only used this product three times so it’s a bit early to tell but I figured I’d give a first impression review. This is Olaplex’s latest launch and like most of Olaplex’s products it delivers. I used this on my hair to air dry and before a blowdry and both ways it left my hair feeling nice and silky and soft! You need to use very little or it can make hair greasy so be careful with that! Will report back after using more.

Dr Sturm Anti Fall Shampoo
I got this as a sample and used 2x and really did not like how it made my hair feel. I also don’t love that the product has zero scent. Even if it was something very light it would have been nice. Kind of ruins the hair washing experience.
Will not be purchasing.

Dr Sturm Hair Mask
I bought this because I LOVE a hair mask and wanted to know how this works. I loved it. The texture is thick but does not weigh The hair down and my hair looked super bouncy and voluminous and felt amazing. Really happy with this product.
