I buy, receive and try a lot of different things in the course of a month. Probably more than most people you know and definitely more than is necessary. However, it is my job to know what’s going on in the world of wellness, beauty and fashion and I’m here for it!
We decided it was time to do a monthly review series, where I round up the things I have been gifted, purchased and tried within that month and let you know what’s worth trying and purchasing and what you should pass on. Tripollar Device
I got this device because two of my friends, who I really trust have it and swear by it! this device is a radio frequency microcurrent device that firms and lifts the skin. i’ve been using it over the last few weeks about three times a week and I do notice a nice lift to my skin. this device isn’t cheap but it does have a long lasting results and so far I am a fan. The only thing I don’t love about it is the gel that you have to put on before has a lot of fragrance in it which Im not a fan of. I also have a code for 20% off (katherinegarbar)

Olapex No.8
I got this mask during the Sephora sale and I’ve use it now about three times. I do find it a little bit heavy for my hair because my hair isn’t damaged. my hair did it look super moisturized but it almost made it to straight and a little bit oily. I won’t be re-purchasing but I do think this would be a great product for damaged hair and colour treated hair.

Wishful Yo Glow Intense
I love the original ‘yo glow’ enzyme scrub so when I saw they made an intense one that was also good for the body I had to purchase. it’s very similar to the original there is the added activated charcoal but beyond that I don’t really notice much of a difference. In terms of using it on the body it works the same as it would on the face however the tube isn’t that large and you do need quite a bit of product to cover the entire body so I wouldn’t recommend it for body use as it can get quite expensive. I do think I still like the original better!

Loops Beauty Masks
my sister bought this variety pack for me And I have been using them ever since. I really love the aesthetic of the packaging however I do find it extremely wasteful, there is a lot of plastic that doesn’t need to be used. in terms of the actual masks, they’re really good they stay on the skin nicely and give instant results. I don’t know that they provide long lasting results but they’re great for in the moment and the price point is excellent.

Buxom Plumping Gloss
You guys already know that I’m a big fan of Buxom lipgloss so when this new collagen shot gloss came out it was a must for me to try. I actually really like this product, I don’t find it overly plump up the lamps which I actually like but it does make the lips very soft and really smooth. all the little lines on the lip appear more even and the texture isn’t sticky!

Kosas Brow Gel
I don’t do much to my eyebrows day-to-day but when I do, I love a brow gel. it’s very subtle and keeps everything in place. This new launch from Kosas is excellent, it kind of plumped up the browse but not in a way that is over the top. I like the clear for day-to-day and the tinted for when I need a little fill in! I will definitely re-purchase and love that these have clean ingredients.

Ilia Blue Light Mist
I love the idea of this product because most of us are in front of a screen for a good portion of the day and even night. this product is easy enough to use and I apply it over make up, I do find the solution a little bit drying which I’m not the biggest fan of of course. I still use it because I want the benefit of the blue light protection but don’t love it as my setting spray for the day because it’s too drying for me.

Laneige Lip Treatment
Laneige lip products have a lot of hype around them. I have always liked any lip product I have purchased from them so I had to try this one! first things first I love the packaging and the fact that there is a applicator that fits so perfectly into the lid, this will avoid bacteria getting into the jar. Oh the texture is really nice it’s not sticky and very hydrating and I also like that it has a pearlescent finish. I am enjoying using this before bed.

PCA VITAMIN B3 BRIGHTENING SERUM
I’m a huge fan of a niacinamide and I saw this serum on Boutique Skin Envie so I had to give it a try! i’m happy I did because it is amazing! It really does brighten the skin, help get rid of pigmentation and leaves skin super dewy and hydrated! This will become a staple for me!

ubeaty Super Hydrator Serum
I felt like I had to try this brand because so many people were asking me about it. I’ve been using this product for the last month or so and I will say that it is very hydrating, rich and makes skin look really nice and plump. The price point is a little bit outrageous for me because I feel as though I can get these results from other products for a fraction of the cost.
