I buy, receive and try a lot of different things in the course of a month. Probably more than most people you know and definitely more than is necessary. However, it is my job to know what’s going on in the world of wellness, beauty and fashion and I’m here for it!
We decided it was time to do a monthly review series, where I round up the things I have been gifted, purchased and tried within that month and let you know what’s worth trying and purchasing and what you should pass on. Soleil Toujours Antioxidant Face Mist
I am loving this mist from Soleil Toujours, especially in the warm summer months. It helps restore balance and breathe life into tired and thirsty skin. It is a continuous spay and feels like Evian mist on steroids. It has algae, vitamin C, cucumber and vitamin E so it not only refreshes and hydrates but also leaves your skin looking glowy. I like to keep this in my sunscreen bag. Only negative is the quantity for the price, it’s expensive but the quality is good. Will definitely repurchase.

Dae Monsoon Moisture Mask
I am a big fan of Dae’s hair products, so when I saw they were launching a new mask I purchased it instantly. I have used it a few times, it is an intensive hydrating treatment mask with a very thick, creamy texture. I was worried it would weigh down my hair because the texture of the mask is quite heavy, but it doesn’t. It really hydrates and leaves the hair soft and very touchable. I recommend it if your hair is in need of a boost of hydration. This wouldn’t be my first choice to repair damage though.

Biologique Recherche BioKiss Lip Balm
This lip balm is incredible, I am so happy I ordered it! My lips get really dry in the summer months and after using this for 1 day they were “healed”. It’s a regenerating balm that nourishes dry lips and smooths flakiness or chapping. Its antioxidant and soothing properties protect lips from environmental damage. It also has a nice glossy finish but isn’t sticky! I am obsessed.

Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm- Vanilla Beige
Summer Fridays Lip Butter is a favorite for many but the packaging wasn’t so user friendly. They have repackaged their amazing formula, which is way easier to use and they added a perfect nude gloss color as well! I love the shade and that the gloss isn’t sticky. I do find that the color doesn’t stay on long and I am often reapplying so the tube will go quickly.

Gee Beauty S’more Lip Liner
This was sent over by the ladies at Gee and as someone who doesn’t really use or enjoy lip liner I was pleasantly surprised. Firstly, the color is everything! Perfect shade, it’s like lip color with a little oomph! I use it as lipstick and then apply a gloss on top and love how long it stays on the lip! Maybe I am a lip liner person after all?

WTHN Facial Cupping Set
I love all things that sculpt, lift and drain the face of puffiness so when I saw these cupping tools I had to try! Face cupping is an ancient technique that increases circulation, boosts collagen and relaxes any tight muscles of the face. It’s like nature’s facelift. These are really easy to use, they plump the skin up instantly and create a lot of blood flow. I also notice my skin overall looks better the day I use them. I will definitely do a video soon showing how I use these!

Vita Liberata Heavenly Elixir Tanner
I saw Steph from Gee Beauty swear by this product, so I tried it out. I do weekly spray tans and don’t use many at home tanners, but I am always looking to prolong my spray tan, especially with all the sweaty workouts I do. This tanner has really cool technology and continues to develop for days after using, but the tan is such a nice natural color and not overwhelming. It also makes your skin look almost airbrushed. Definitely happy to have this in my arsenal!

Biologique Recherche Masque PIGM 400
I love the whole PIGM 400 range from Biologique Recherche because I am always wanting to work on brightening my skin and improving pigmentation, I also love a sheet mask! This formula is made from brightening and antioxidant active ingredients that give an amazing boost to the skin’s radiance. The texture of the sheet mask isn’t like most sheet masks that are sticky or even gel-like. This mask is made from Lyocell that clings to the face and feels very lightweight. I am really liking them and will be adding these into my mask rotation.

Morphe By Ariel Brush Set
It was time for new makeup brushes, so I purchased this set from Morphe By Ariel and so far I am really liking them. They are aesthetically pleasing, very soft and my makeup applies nicely with them. Very smooth and easy to use. I don’t love the pointed ends of the brushes and am not a fan of the makeup sponge.
