I buy, receive and try a lot of different things in the course of a month. Probably more than most people you know and definitely more than is necessary. However, it is my job to know what’s going on in the world of wellness, beauty and fashion and I’m here for it!
We decided it was time to do a monthly review series, where I round up the things I have been gifted, purchased and tried within that month and let you know what’s worth trying and purchasing and what you should pass on. Saie Concealer
I was super excited to try this because I generally love everything Saie makes and I use concealer daily. Right off the bat I didn’t like the applicator, it doesn’t allow the product to apply nicely on the skin. I also don’t love the finish of this, I am all for a dewy glow but this almost made my skin look worse. It’s a fail for me.

Vapour Foundation
This foundation is LIFE! I don’t love wearing foundation but decided to give this a try and wow. It gives the skin nice medium coverage and a really gorgeous dewy, satin finish. Stays on so well and is made of clean ingredients. It’s also easy to apply in specific areas and doesn’t need to be used all over the face. We will be selling Vapour on The GLW Shop soon and I can’t wait for you guys to try this!

Surratt Lipslique
I have been wanting to try things from this brand so I ordered this lip product. The texture and finish is exactly what I love in lipstick. It’s like lipstick meets gloss, super hydrating and glossy but looks like a lipstick. However, it didn’t even last me 1 month and the product doesn’t stay on long. For the price and how little product there is I will stick with other lipsticks.

111skin Sub Zero eye patches
So I’m a huge 111skin sheet mask fan and adore their Sub Zero full face mask. I was sent a sampler of all their masks and these eye patches were in it. I used them and instantly had a love affair. They are cold and actually depuff the eyes so efficiently. They smell divine and stick in place so you can walk around and they won’t slide all over the place. Highly recommend it, I’m on my second box and use these regularly.

Jones Road Foundation
I have been really loving Jones Road products so when this launched I ordered ASAP. I was disappointed with the product, it’s very oily and needs to be mixed… a lot. I don’t mind an oily, dewy product but I found this did nothing for me and didn’t love the way it made my skin look. I also didn’t like the way my makeup applied on top, so it’s a fail for me.

wthn Acupressure Matt
I am not new to acupressure matts but this one is amazing. It actually makes a difference and provides instant relief to sore body parts, it’s extremely grounding and relaxing to lie on and I adore the pillow because it can be moved around to different areas to create different benefits.

Crown Affair Dry Shampoo
I have had a hard time finding a good, clean dry shampoo that actually works but doesn’t dry out my hair too much or leave build up on my scalp. In the warmer months my hair needs a little help between washes to help it look fresh. This product is really great, a little annoying to apply but smells amazing and gives just the right amount of “dry shampoo-ness” to the hair.

Ilapothecary Beat The Blues Mist
I have heard about this product for some time now and finally bought it. This is an aromatic mist for rooms to help lift the mood. I have to say, it not only smells amazing but it really does have mood lifting, energizing effects. I like to spray in my bathroom in the AM while I’m doing my skincare and in the shower. I also got the candle and love that as well!

Gee Beauty Brightening Concealer
I am a Gee Beauty fan, and love their makeup. I was so excited to try this new concealer because I really like a brightening formula. I wear shade 3 and it’s the perfect texture, brightness and coverage. No creasing, stays on super well and like all Gee makeup it makes you feel confident in your skin.
