Sometimes less is more. This is an easy weekly goto recipe in my house, it’s lite and tight and very KG approved. My lemon dill salmon gets two thumbs up from my friends and family and has become a staple at our holiday tables. Below serves 2. Enjoy!
Lemon Dill Salmon
Servings 2 people
Ingredients
- 2 Fillets Organic Atlantic salmon or wild if available
- 2 tbsp Fresh Dill - chopped
- 1 tbsp dijon mustard
- 1 tsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp avocado oil
- 1 sliced lemon
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp steak spice
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Heat the oven to 400F.
- Prepare your baking sheet with a silicone mat or parchment paper, lay down sliced lemons.
- Place salmon on top of the lemons. Add some salt, pepper and steak spice.
- In a small bowl, mix oil, dijon, maple syrup, dill, garlic powder and mix until all blended together well. Then brush this marinade onto the salmon. Let marinade for as long as possible but can be cooked right away.
- Cook for 12-18 minutes depending on the thickness of the salmon. Once salmon is pretty much done place the salmon on the top rack of your oven and broil for 2-3 minutes, until charred.
