2020 was a year of discovery. We had to completely shift our mindsets and learn how to work in different ways. This opened up new experiences for us. Thus exploring and finding new things.
The GLW team compiled a list of their favorite things from this past year. Products, memberships, tools, accessories, you name it. Anything that we discovered in 2020 and we kept using over and over again.
Arrae Bloat Capsules
This was such a good find. Arrae is your digestion’s bff, whether you had a whole pizza or too many lentils. These little magic capsules help seriously soothe digestion and leave you feeling great.
Peloton
Not just for spinning but for all their workouts. You don’t need the bike to use the Peloton platform, it’s really incredible and if you actually use it, affordable because it offers such a wide range of workouts and instructors.
Bruush Toothbrush
We are obsessed with this toothbrush. After brushing or should we say “Bruushing” you feel like you just left a professional dental cleaning. We love the sleek design and bathroom counter appeal. This also comes with a great travel case that we absolutely love.
Josie Maran Argan Milk
This is one of the most underrated beauty products on the market. We say underrated because not enough people are talking about it. This Josie Maran Argan Milk is uber hydrating serum feels so nice on the skin and leaves skin silky and plump. You will notice a difference after using this, even just once. We like to use this as our first serum and layer it with other actives. It’s excellent for sensitive skin!
Bala Bangles
2020 was definitely the year we realized how important it is to have some workout equipment at home. Bala bangles are not only super effective and easy to use as ankle and hand weights but they are also really aesthetically pleasing and make working out, do we dare say more…. Fun? Who knew 1lb could feel so heavy?
Kosas Color & Light Cream Blush and Highlighter
Natural beauty products have really come a long way and this Kosas duo is incredible! We love the tropic equinox shade; it gives the perfect sun kissed glow and really lasts on the skin. It is both natural looking and packed with natural ingredients and we can’t really live without it!
Pangaia Sweatsets
Another thing this year has taught us is you can never have enough loungewear. Pangaia is a sustainable lounge wear brand that launched in late 2019 and has been seen on pretty much every celeb and fashion blogger. The colors are super fun and look cute mixed together, it definitely has made wearing sweats more exciting!

Pilates Noir online membership
When Covid quarantine first happened in March, I became addicted to Instagram live workouts to keep me busy and active during the long and hard days. They really gave me something to look forward to each morning. Pilates Noir in particular was my favorite. Luckily, Stef, the owner of Pilates Noir launched an online subscription based website with tons of incredible pilates workouts ranging from targeted workouts to full body workouts. I am so grateful and totally hooked!
Jade Roller and Gua Sha by August & Monroe
This year was finally the year I gave into the hype of the jade roller and gua sha rituals. And boy, am I ever happy I hopped on the bandwagon! Helps with depuffing, lymph node drainage, and facial rejuvenation, these tools are now part of my morning ritual, and sometimes evening because it feels so good. Even my fiancé loves it… Double win!
Black Suede Studio x KGMTL slippers
With all the time we spend at home, comfort is the priority. Aiming for optimal comfort and elegance, the BSSxKGMTL slippers have been my favorite purchase of the year. I had to get both open-toe and closed-toe styles, because when you love something so much, it’s impossible to choose! If you haven’t gotten a pair yet, I recommend that you do, and quickly because limited quantities are left! SHOP
Saje Essential Oil Diffuser
Setting an ambiance in my surroundings is so important for my well-being and productivity. The Saje essential oil diffuser does just that. Visually appealing, naturally derived and cleansing, I look forward to turning it on everyday. Thank you Katherine for the gift!
GLW Membership
Prior to taking on the role of social media content specialist at Girls Living Well, I was always a fan and follower of GLW but hadn’t actually subscribed to its membership. But WHY… shame on me, I know! It is the holy grail, encyclopedia, almanac, bible… whatever you want to call it, of beauty, wellness, fitness, and food! I am mind blown on how much incredible information this platform contains and continues to release. Consider it as an inexpensive extension to your self-care (it’s like a grande Starbucks coffee!). You GLW girl!
