Now that we are all getting back together for the holidays and you may have adapted some new healthy habits here is how to handle the pressure to eat things that don’t align with you and stay true to your beliefs when it comes to food.

Health guilt. It’s a thing… it shouldn’t be but it is and I have dealt with it for years and I’m sure many of you have too! I can only speak for myself, but it seems that when you enter into a healthier lifestyle and start really advocating for yourself about the type of foods you want to eat and nourish your body with it comes with judgement. Generally, the judgement or commentary is coming from people who may not understand it or how I prefer to phrase it, don’t WANT to understand it. Many don’t want to understand because that means they may be required to feel the need to change and change is scary and being healthy and making healthier eating and lifestyle choices for yourself requires HARD WORK!
