When it comes to living a healthy lifestyle, there are a few areas that can be tougher to navigate in order to stay on track. A big one being eating out, how to order at a restaurant and staying on track while on vacation. Of course, life is meant to be enjoyed and I am really big on 80/20, 90/10 I eat 80% clean and 20% whatever the hell I want, unless I am doing the KG Challenge or a cleanse I will allow myself to enjoy the way food is prepared by the restaurants I eat at.
However, when I am away on vacation, it is important that I stick to my lifestyle so I can feel good and enjoy myself. Gluten, dairy, refined sugars and hydrogenated oils in small doses are ok but when eaten meal after meal, I feel it and it makes me feel crappy and low energy and no one wants to feel that way, especially on vacation!
