This recipe was adapted from the cookbook Sababa, which is an Israeli style cookbook that I love. I have basically taken the recipe, adapted it to my dietary needs and added some other ingredients to make it a whole meal. I have made it a few times now and Kris and I love it! Every time I make it and share it on my Instagram I get tons of requests to share the recipe so here it is!
This is a meal in itself and is so delicious you will definitely add it into your rotation!
