I buy, receive and try a lot of different things in the course of a month. Probably more than most people you know and definitely more than is necessary. However, it is my job to know what’s going on in the world of wellness, beauty and fashion and I’m here for it!
We decided it was time to do a monthly review series, where I round up the things I have been gifted, purchased and tried within that month and let you know what’s worth trying and purchasing and what you should pass on. Gleamin Vitamin C Clay Mask
My friend told me I had to try this mask and that apparently it was going “viral”. I had never heard of it but figured it was worth a try. I used it 2 times a week for 3 weeks and really didn’t feel I noticed any difference from it. My skin appeared a little tighter maybe but that was about it. I would not repurchase.

Natura Bisse Stabilizing Cleansing Mask
This mask is MENTAL! Nat Gee or Gee beauty gifted me this and let me just say WOW! Instant results. Your skin looks so bright, glass like and all around amazing after just one use. I have been using a few times a week and really love it. I am going to be trying more from this line. I will report back.

Ouai Hair Gloss In-Shower Shine Treatment
I am not the biggest Ouai fan, there has never really been a product that I swore by or ran to repurchase and it’s been a while since i’ve felt compelled to try one of their launches. This one looked interesting and who doesn’t want glossier looking hair. I tried it and went to get a blow dry. My hairdresser had to re-shampoo my hair because it left so much residue that my hair looked wet. So it’s a big NO for me.

DedCool Taunt and Xtra Milk Perfume
I love trying new perfumes and of course, i’m always on the hunt for the best non toxic products. Especially in the scent space, because conventional fragrances are so bad for our health. When i found this brand, I asked them to send me all scents so I could find the ones I love most. I found 2 that I am OBSESSED with and decided we had to get the brand on GLW. I can’t wait for you all to try!

CurrentBody LED Light Therapy Face Mask
I feel like I haven’t stopped talking about this mask. I have really committed to doing it every night for 10 mins and have seen a really
nice improvement in my skin. There are a ton of these devices on the market but this one really seems to work best. I also love that you can walk around with it and don’t need to stay plugged into the wall. My skin looks more even, plump and glowy. It also forces me to relax and unwind after the day.

ILIA The Base Face Milk
I was so excited to receive this PR package because I adore an essence and adore the Rhode glazing milk but do not adore all the ingredients. Ilia is non toxic so this was hopefully going to fill that spot for me.
I love the product. It’s exactly what it says it is, hydrating, plumping and a perfect base for your skincare. The packing is stunning but hard to travel with. I will definitely repurchase and think it’s worth the try!

Paula’s Choice skin perfecting 6% Mandelic Acid + 2% Lactic Acid Liquid Exfoliant
This was a very exciting launch as PC’s BHA formula is such a holy grail product for myself and so many others. This one is more targeted at discolouration, which is my main concern so of course, this was an exciting launch.
I have been using this every other night since the beginning of January so I feel it’s too soon to give a deep review but I do love the way my skin looks and feels the morning after using this. I do think it’s gentle enough for my sensitive skin types and love the actives in here. So far so good but will continue to test for a stronger review.

Summer Friday Dream Lip Oil
I did a full try on of these on my IG and have been using pretty much all the shades in rotation since purchasing around their launch date. The formula is juicy, and thick and goes on like a dream. They’re super moisturizing and the colors are beautiful. I love the packaging and feel of the applicator on the lip. I do find the color fades a little quickly for me but that’s also the nature of a lip oil so maybe a little liner underneath would help. I will definitely be repurchasing.

Kosas BB burst
I got this PR package about a week ago and have been using every day since over my SPF. I really like the formula here. It truly feels like skincare but with nice dewy coverage. I have been using shade 24 and it’s working nicely for me. I will continue to use and play with it but so far it has my stamp of approval. Definitely worth the try. It may be a little on the dewy side for oilier skin types.
