I have been loving Herbamare Sea Salt seasoning and literally use it on everything. I am a huge fan of sweet, salty, spicy nuts and love to have them in my house to snack on or for when I’m having people over. Homemade seasoned nuts also make an excellent gift to bring a host. I decided to try out a recipe with my Herbamare Spicy Sea Salt Seasoning and they turned out melt in your mouth delicious! Try this recipe, it takes 15 minutes total!
Sweet, Spicy & Salty Herbamare Nuts
Servings 2 cups
Ingredients
- ½ cup Walnuts
- ½ cup Pecans
- ½ cup Almonds
- ½ cup Cashews
- 1.5 tbsp Herbamare Spicy Sea Salt
- 2 tsp ghee or vegan butter
- ¼ cup coconut sugar
- 1/8 cup water
Instructions
- Heat oven to 350F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl combine all nuts and Herbamare Spicy Sea Salt, set aside.
- In a small pot on low heat, add water, coconut sugar and ghee or vegan butter. Let all ingredients combine and melt together. Remove from heat and pour over nuts and seasoning and toss with a spatula to combine and coat all the nuts well.
- Transfer to a prepared baking sheet in a single layer and bake for 10-15 minutes. Check nuts around the 8-minute mark to make sure they’re not burning. Each oven is different, mine usually take about 12 minutes to cook nicely.
- Remove from the oven and let cool and come to room temperature. Store in an airtight container or jar for up to 2 weeks and enjoy!
