This dish is always a crowd pleaser. My husband, Kris, loves my burgers and they have become a weekly staple in our home. My burgers have no breadcrumbs and no eggs – which is very KG approved. The photos do not even do these burgers justice! Pictured with my homemade “fries,” and on a kamut bun that only contains 1% gluten, a few slices of pickles, mustard and then some sauerkraut. One of the easiest and yummiest dishes I make, tag us in your variations at home.
Kris and I eat these all year round, not only during BBQ season. Remember to tag @girlslivingwell if you post these, we want to see your variations of each recipe! Bon appetit!
Turkey Burgers
Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs organic ground turkey
- 1 tsp garlic powder or 1 clove of fresh garlic
- Sea salt and pepper to taste
- *if you feel you need something to bind the burgers better I use almond flour or oat flour and it works great.
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425F.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the meat, garlic powder, sea salt, pepper. Then form into patties. I always place them onto a plate with some parchment paper and then once the patties are formed, I put them into the fridge for about 20 minutes to help keep them together.
- I use a non stick grill pan but feel free to use any oven safe pan (cast iron is a great option) or BBQ. Cook the burger on high for 3-4 minutes and then flip and cook the other side for 3 minutes.
- Place pan into the oven for another 10-12 minutes depending on the size of your patties.
- Remove from oven and serve.

Just made these for dinner tonight! Omg so good. I am shocked because I usually add in bread crumbs and eggs etc and the burgers are usually dry. These had flavor and were so juicy!
