Brain fog has been the issue on and affecting so many people’s minds for the last year or so. PRIORITIZE SLEEP/ REST:
Practice good sleep hygiene: Turn off your phone 1 hour before bed, and onto airplane mode. Find a wind down routine that, if possible, doesn’t contain blue light, as that can impair restful sleep. Upon rising in the morning try to get outside and see daylight, this will help your circadian rhythm and allow you to sleep better and deeper.
There is nothing more important for brain function than getting adequate sleep and it’s important for mood, clarity and full body function. No matter how many herbal remedies you take to combat brain fog, if you aren’t getting proper sleep nothing will help.
DIET/ EXERCISE:
It goes without saying that if you are recovering from any illness or have been on the verge of a burnout/ overdoing it day to day with work and life stresses you need to be eating well and moving your body.
