Hi! I’m Andra Sitoianu, future naturopath and holistic nutritionist graduating in May 2022.

I decided to pursue a career in naturopathy in order to explore an integrative, holistic, and preventative approach to health and provide tools and support to anyone wishing to better understand the connection between their healing journey to nutrition, toxins elimination and minerals support.

I embarked on this journey 4 years ago after the birth of my first son. At the age of 2 months, he was diagnosed with the “most severe” case of eczema/inflammation that doctors I consulted had ever seen. He also developed over 30 food and environmental allergies. I was desperate to find a remedy that could help ease his symptoms, but no traditional medicine did the trick. Today, I am proud to say that by following holistic protocols, his eczema is completely gone, and we have eliminated most of his food allergies and all his environmental ones.

With the rise of autoimmune diseases, endocrine disorders and the prominence of detrimental lifestyle habits, it is of the utmost importance that we revert to nature and its benefits. Research and statistics show that our modern-day customs could potentially be detrimental to our vitality:

low nutrient dense food intake and environmental toxins create mineral imbalances that I believe are at the root causes of many symptoms. A bio-individualized approach combining functional medicine and naturopathic principals will bring back homeostasis: honoring the body’s innate intelligence and its ability to restore, regenerate, and correct itself when properly supported.

What sets my practice apart is integrating functional tests, with leading worldwide laboratories, that provide markers for metabolic, mitochondrial, and environmental factors in chronic illnesses. These tests pinpoint disequilibrium and dysbiosis on one’s terrain and provides the evidence required to design the most effective nutritional and rejuvenating protocols:

  • Hair Tissue Mineral Test:
    • Using hair from the scalp, this affordable and pain free test indicates mineral imbalances and heavy metal toxicities. Helpful for anyone on their healing journey since minerals fuel all reactions in the body. It is especially helpful for those struggling with hormone imbalances, suspected or diagnosed hypothyroidism, PCOS, endometriosis, and those transitioning off hormonal birth control or the copper IUD.
  • Mold and Environmental Toxins Test:
    • Virtually every neurological disease has been associated with toxin exposure: autism, Alzheimer’s disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, multiple sclerosis, and Parkinson’s disease. There is a strong association between toxin exposure and cancers, especially liver and kidney cancers. Diseases and symptoms linked to toxins exposure include fever, pneumonia-like symptoms, heart disease, rheumatic disease, asthma, sinusitis, nose bleeding, cancer, memory loss, vision loss, chronic fatigue, skin rashes, depression, ADHD, anxiety, and liver damage. A missing tool in today’s modern world to understand chronic illness.
  • Food Sensitivity Test:
    • Food testing is a useful guide for structuring elimination diets for patients with many chronic conditions. Individuals with neurological, gastrointestinal, movement, and behavioral disorders often suffer from IgG food sensitivities. People may continue to eat offending foods unaware of their potential adverse effects. Elimination of IgG-positive foods may improve symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome, autism, AD(H)D, cystic fibrosis, rheumatoid arthritis, and epilepsy, according to numerous clinical studies.

These are just a few examples of functional tests that can be ordered to understand and support bio-individuality when creating a nutrition and supplement protocol. I am beyond grateful to have the opportunity to work 1:1 with those interested and reach deep into the true root causes of one’s symptoms by combining state of the art functional tests and naturopathic principles like holistic nutrition and herbalism.
